Ayurvedic treatment of allergies: Allergies due to change of seasons, according to Ayurveda, this allergy is caused by Kapha Dosha. According to Ayurveda, Kapha dosha is related to earth and water. Additionally, slow digestive fire also causes allergies. If we want to avoid this allergy, then we should consume a warm and mild diet contrary to these qualities.


Hot dairy products are a home remedy for allergies


We should not consume cold dairy products ie cold milk, ice cream, cold coffee, etc., because of the use of these we may have problems like allergies during the change of seasons. Therefore, we should consume hot dairy products to avoid problems like weather allergies.


Eat warm food to prevent allergies


According to Ayurveda, only hot cooked food should be consumed. It gives relief to the digestive fire. If we eat raw and cold food then the digestive fire does not digest it properly. Poor digestion produces toxins from the food that can cause many types of allergies. Therefore, only hot cooked food should be consumed.


Use of neti pot is an allergy treatment


Neti pot should be used for seasonal allergies. Its use helps in removing the allergies caused by dirt in the nasal passages. It should be used at least once or twice a week in the winter or summer week.


Nasal allergy is a cure


Nasya is an Ayurvedic practice in which Ayurvedic oil is injected into the nose. This practice provides moisture to a dry nose and the benefits of herbs go directly to the nose. It provides relief from nasal discomfort and allergies. It should be used before going to bed at night.


Pranayama is the way to avoid allergy


To keep our weight under control and improve heart health, we should exercise at least three times a week. To get even better results, we should do 30 minutes daily pranayama i.e. breathing techniques. To avoid respiratory allergies, we should do pranayamas like anuloma-viloma, bhastrika, and kapalbhati.

Hot spices should be used to cure weak digestive fire. Especially ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, and black pepper, along with this we should also eat basil and pippali and licorice which help to keep our respiratory system good.
